My name is Jonathan Hanegan. I am originally from Denver, CO. Since graduating from Oklahoma Christian, I have been serving as a missionary in Caracas, Venezuela. I have had the blessing to serve in the following countries: Peru, Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile. I continue to work with the church in Colombia on a regular basis. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Simplicity & Missional Formation

I hardly ever read the same book twice. However, there are a few exceptions. I first read Richard Foster's book Freedom of Simplicity: Finding Harmony in a Complex World about ten years ago. It had a great impact on my life. Now that so much in my life has changed, I've decided to read it again.

That is wonderful about the baptisms. Praise God! Hope you enjoy your time back in the States.

The outreach is going great at High Pointe. A LOT of Bible studies going on, baptisms, service in the community. God is starting to reap a great harvest from the missional efforts of the last two years.

Hola hermano! Gusto en conocerlo, asi es soy amigo de Wilmer. Pues tuve que que traer el sabor latino a este website :) A mi tambien me gusta mucho la avispas! Estaba leyendo que le gustaria aprender Quechua, wow! Que interesante de verdad! Yo a las justas estoy que me olvido el español y usted ya con ganas de aprender ese idioma jaja, me parece muy bien.
