The gospel's central theme is about a relationship restored. So it is essential that everything that we do in regards to how the body is lead must have an element of a personal feel. One thing I'd like to bring to this discussion is how often I see…

That's fine. In fact, we are looking for people that are more like that! See, the thing is that hispanics now, probably a 50-60% speak mostly English, or English their primary language. When I worked with the youth group at my church, the language they most felt comfortable in was english. Being hispanic means you have some roots from Latin America. Here, we are talking about 2nd and 3rd generation hispanics for the most part, hispanics who have been here all their life, were born here, and who's primary language is english. They're mainstream america, but who's parents are from Latin America.

Hola Chris! I am son of Sixto Rivera, minister at Highland Oaks church of Christ who is also a church planter and has a radio program. I got to help out with starting a Hispanic/Latino youth group and a soccer team at this church. I am currently a student at OC. I am passionate about Latino Leadership in the church. I would really love to hear your insight on Latinos and Latino Leadership.

No way! That is awesome. I am a huge supporter of church plants and church planters. What will your role be on the team?

Stan Granberg joined here, but he is pretty busy.
