I am happy to see what you are doing .www.cjhbchurchofchrist.co.za the church meet in house ,they are about 75 att- Last fellowship we are about 320 att-now the church need help to buy a building in the name of the church of christ we have 4 congregations in central johannesberg our big problems is meeting place.we need your prayers and visit .come and see.

Lantz,
LST is still one of the best resources for doing short term missions. Have you considered forming LST teams specifically for your Honduras needs. Also Mission Resource Network has a lot of general information available.

Lantz, I firmly believe that my exposure to overseas missions through LST and my parents helped shaped my heart for mission in the local church as well.

I'll look forward to your discussions and thoughts and hearing about Mission Lazarus!

It is amazing to hear stories about how our parents transformed our hearts to think missional. The truth is my parents love Christ and I spent many summers at Impact Church of Christ in grade school and this process has continued to this day. I also participated with LST in college at LCU and went to Moscow, Russia. (How do we help parents have a heart to raise their children and teens to be missional?) (Many thoughts to go with this, I will start a discussion for this alone.)

We are finalizing our trip to Honduras this summer with Mission Lazarus. We are taking a few teens and several young adults. I look forward to hearing their stories of their fist time international mission experience.

Hi Lantz. I'm glad you've started this group. I grew up going in the summers with my parents on Let's Start Talking (LST) mission trips, and then went on my own to Eindhoven, Holland, in college. i think that they have a great strategy of helping people learn and better their English by reading from the gospel of Luke.
