Here's the study guide (designed to be made into a booklet): http://www.campusministryunited.com/documents/cmustudies.pdf

And here's a five part walkthrough:

Robert Cox - "Sharing the Gospel From A to Z - Seeking God" (55:49)
Robert Cox - "Sharing the Gospel From A to Z - The Word" (33:19)
Robert Cox - "Sharing the Gospel From A to Z - Sin" (34:20)
Robert Cox - "Sharing the Gospel From A to Z - Discipleship" (40:51)
Robert Cox - "Sharing the Gospel From A to Z - Repentance & Rebirth" (41:40)

This material was released through Campus Ministry United a couple of years ago, and hundreds of people have been studied with resulting in their coming to Christ as several churches have begun using it.

It's not, however, the approach or materials you use that matters. What matters most is that Jesus is being shared with people!

Attached is another study I've used quite frequently. This was put together by Jim Woodell many years ago, and has been used widely since.

I've learned this study well enough to internalize the message. Most of the time when I study with someone nowadays, it's more of a conversation than my lecturing them or having them listen the entire time. I frequently find myself going back to this study in those conversations as the message of the grace of Jesus found in Romans is one that will never go out of date.

Attached is the study along with two leader guides to go along with it.

Again, I highly recommend learning this message well enough to plug it into conversation instead of simply lecturing someone on the material.

I printed out this study and had a thought that it looked very good.

Yesterday a member asked me for something they could use to study with a friend who was willing. I thought of this study as I considered that.

Yet, as I look at it... I wonder what you give to the student... since it's numbered to include the teacher pages ... that would seem odd. I know this isn't about Bible study per se, but it is about using THIS good study... any tips?

John - sorry for the late reply - just noticed your question.

I don't use the booklet when studying with someone else, and don't recommend anyone else do either.

I recommend people make a few notes in the margins of their Bible to give them a bit of guidance, but to learn the study well enough where they aren't relying on the booklet at all.

Normally I'll have another person accompany me who's interested in learning the studies whose job is to take notes the entire time. At the end, they give their notes to the person being studied with. This helps them internalize the message of the study, and also gives the person we're studying with notes to go over when they get home. I encourage them to write down any questions they have from the notes and bring them next time.

So, to answer your question - I don't like using the booklet when I'm actually studying with someone - just the Bible. The booklet is simply meant to be used to prepare.
