Well...I will say that Garth and I were about to buy tickets to Recife for your December wedding in Brazil....when we realized that we have to have VISA's to enter the country and we also realized that we are still parents to a high schooler. So...that plan was SQUASHED and STOMPED!

It does not mean that we can't come later. Perhaps June?

Hello everyone, or maybe "Howdy!" would be a better greeting, and maybe give away that I am originally from Nashville, TN.
As Garth has stated, I am a missionary here in Recife, Brazil. I actually met Rebecca when she came here with the LST group, and we have been friends ever since! Garth and Rebecca have become very special friends to me, and I look forward to getting to know some of you as well!

I'd like you guys to meet Mike Eppinette, who joined this group and the church planting group. Mike is with World Radio and White's Ferry Road. He is a great guy with a lot of vision. Let's welcome Mike!

Hello All,
Matha and I have been interested in global missions for a very long time. We have been with Let's Start Talking since 1988, am on the board for ITCM in St Petersburg, Russia, and on the board for the children's program for El Salvador. So, foreign missions is in our blood. We are presently in New Zealand at the South Pacific Bible College. Check out our blog at www.postmodernevangelism.blogspot.com. Note that the students must respond to any of your comments /questionsyou may post.

Hi Garth. Glad to see that you've started this group! IThough I work on local outreach, I am a supporter of all things missional. In fact, my missional interest was no doubt influenced by going on short term mission trips with Let's Start Talking.
