Joining or Starting a Group

Joining a group is simple. Just go to the "Groups" tab in the menu above. There you will see different groups, each with a picture icon. To join one of the groups, click on the icon and click on "Join this group."

Joining a group draws you together with people who have similar interests, such as those interested in "Evangelistic Bible studies." In a group you can start or participate in a discussion about that group, and you can receive a message when someone posts something in this group (this feature can be turned off). You can also send out a post to all of the group members.

To start your own group, click on "Add a group" in the right corner of the Groups page, and follow the instructions. Groups can be created with many ends in mind, including:
- A common interest around a particular type of outreach (such as Habitat for Humanity)
- A workgroup for a particular ministry
- A group that is city wide or regional
